Hi Everyone,

Whenever I go out shooting, I usually have some specific things I want to photograph. It could be a particular landscape, some special plant in bloom or something else the area is known for.

But I always keep an eye out for the unexpected. Below are two photos I took in Sedona, Arizona. In Sedona you usually focus on the Red Rocks or some unique rock formation.

On this day, I came across an irrigation ditch that was reflecting autumn leaves. Instead of trying to focus on moving water, I did long exposures to show the movement of the water and how it distorted the colorful leaves. It was a lot of fun.

When you’re out shooting, pay attention to everything around you to get the most out of your photo trip.
