Hi Everyone,

While I don’t do a lot of bird photography, I do like photographing the birds of prey at the Arizona Renaissance Festival.

They have a Birds Of Prey show several times a day. You can not only get images of the birds flying and hunting, but there is another special treat. After the show, several of the cast members come out carrying some of the birds so you can ask questions and take up-close photos, like the ones on this page.

There are many other subjects to photograph at the Festival. If you get the chance, check it out. You won’t regret the adventure.

Both of these photos were taken with my Canon EF 24-70mm f/4L IS lens, on a Canon Rebel T5i.
