Hi Everyone,
I have always enjoyed visiting old cemeteries. The aged headstones, the birth and death dates, information on the interred, wondering what kind of life they had. It’s all so fascinating.

I took this image at the Hogback Cemetery in Jerome, Arizona. This was the cemetery for the residents of Jerome, until it filled up. Then a new cemetery was created in Clarkdale. Mining and disease at the time took many lives of people of all ages. There are supposed to be almost 400 people buried here.
The Fleur-de-Lis is a common decoration used throughout Jerome. I wanted to give this photo an Old West look, so I added the sepia color and some grain.
