Default Gallery Type Template
This is the default gallery type template, located in:
/home/creati10/public_html/jeffcolburn.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_gallery_display/templates/index.php.
If you're seeing this, it's because the gallery type you selected has not provided a template of it's own.

Hi,
I have tiffs/jpegs of pictures i painted some time ago and am thinking of sellling prints from the jpegs etc,can you see any drawbacks from selling the e-copys using ejunkie,i would love to know your view on this,

Selling prints of pictures would be fine through Ejunkie. Selling the actual JPG files would be a problem as they could be easily spread all over the Internet. I have this problem with my ebooks, someone will buy my ebook, then put it on Torrent and similar sites. I’ve had over $1,000,000 worth of my ebooks illegally downloaded. That’s the problem with digital files. Once someone has it, they can do almost anything they want with it.

Very glad that I found this blog post, as I’ve been photographer for quite some time now but never was considering selling my images as stock. However, as the time passed I end up building on relatively substantiation portfolio and I wanted to start exploring the possibilities of utilizing the images as stock and print. For this I consider, as most ethical and in favor of all the photography industry, to sell through my own website in contrast to using any of the “parasitic” stock agencies – unless there is one that may is sharing 60/40% in favor of the photographer.

I agree that you should find a photographer that specializes in the type of photography you need, like you said. You should also make sure they will fit with your budget and schedule. I think it could be a great idea to talk to other people who have used that photographer, like you suggested. You could also see samples of their past work to get an idea of their style.

Thanks for commenting. I agree with you in that you need to really check out a photographer before you hire them. A company has too much to lose if they hire the wrong photographer.

This seems like a great way to make sure you are getting a great photographer to help with whatever your business needs photographed.
