Hi Suzanne,

This meteorite/basalt weighs about 13 pounds, has rust spots on the surface and is much heavier than any piece of basalt I have ever picked up. Magnets also have a small attraction to it, but won’t stick to a vertical surface.

So is it a stony meteorite, or some basalt with a ridiculous amount of iron blended in?
